This 43 Housing Development to provide Social Housing for Falkirk Council was constructed on the site of the demolished Falkirk High School.
The site required some remediation measures including the removal of an existing basement foundations.
Generally, the site was level however a new boundary retaining wall was required the North boundary.
A communal area was constructed in a central location on the site. This area was used to locate the surface water attenuation tank below the ground.
The development consisted of 7 Blocks of 2 Storey Houses and Cottage Flats in a series of terraces.
The buildings were constructed using Timber Framed Construction and clad with a mix of different types of Facing block and Render Panels with concrete tiles to the roofs.
Internally the houses were fully decorated and fully fitted out with Kitchens, Bathrooms, and downstairs toilet.
There was a vinyl finish to the Kitchen floors.
The plots were finished with paviours to the front carpark areas and turfed back gardens with Bin space and rear fences.
