Marshall Construction Contracts Division has been awarded contracts and preferred bidder positions by three customers, to deliver residential schemes and educational facilities at three sites across Scotland, worth in excess of £12 million.
These include an £8 million contract in Alyth on behalf of Perth & Kinross Council in conjunction with Hub East Central Scotland to design and construct a new build primary school incorporating an existing A listed Victorian building. Decanting and demolition works were carried out last year, however the new build works have now commenced and are scheduled for completion in February 2017.
Forth Housing Association has also selected Marshall Construction as the preferred bidder for a new housing scheme in Stirling. This £2.1 million development involves the construction of 22no. new build dwellings on two sites in the Cultenhove area under a Design & Build contract. The project will commence towards the end of February and is due for completion November 2016.
Marshall Construction has also been awarded a contract by Tigh Grain Ltd circa £1.9 million to expedite all ground work/foundations to receive pre-fitted volumetric pods, together with the external enveloping of the pods to create 48no. Units with associated site and road works at Queen Street, Alva. Works commenced this month and are due to be completed December 2016.
