Marshall Construction is currently building a 21-bedroom extension at the South Queensferry Premier Inn over 3 storeys, including linen stores, plant room, drainage, services and external works. The scheme is due for completion in February 2019.

The Premier Inn chain is owned by Whitbread, which operates over 760 hotels across the UK with more than 68,000 rooms. Whitbread aims to have 85,000 rooms by 2020.

Gareth Bland, Development & Bid Manager at Marshall Construction, said: This is another fantastic development, we are delighted to have negotiated this project with Whitbread, having completed three Premier Inn extensions in the past.

The scheme also reflects the successful partnership that we have built with Premier Inn, and we are excited to see our relationship with Whitbread continue with the South Queensferry project.”
