Marshall Construction has successfully completed the £1m shell construction of a new Home Bargains store at Kilsyth for T J Morris Ltd.
TJ Morris Ltd, trading as Home Bargains is one of the UK’s fastest growing discount retailers. Home Bargains plans to expand its 250 stores to more than 500 within the next five years.
Marshall Construction competitively tendered the project – the works consisted of the removal of existing ground to make way for a new substructure, slab and steel frame, together with steel cladding/roofing. External works included a new car park and associated landscaping/fencing and the provision of necessary services.
The contract start date was October 2013 and the building was handed over to the fit out contractor in April 2014.
