Marshall Construction was appointed as Main Contractor for the construction of 151 new flats, comprising 18-1 Bedroom and 133-2 bedroom across 5 blocks ranging from 4 to 6 storeys. The site in Newhall Street Glasgow is adjacent to other similar residential areas and close to the river Clyde.

The blocks are built traditionally with timber frame, brickwork external façade and tiled roofs.

The end user client for the project is Places for People and they were delighted to have the blocks successfully handed over in April 2024, block 3 handed over in May 2024 with the final blocks completion in August 2024.

Both Clients and design team have been particularly pleased with the Quality delivered with the Client’s interior designer commenting:

“The quality of finish on site yesterday was some of the best I have seen in recent years.”
